The Attaché from the Regional Security Office (RSO) of the United States Embassy honored the DSI Academy with a visit, following an invitation extended by DSI Director General Police Major Suriya Singhakamol. This visit was aimed at fostering cooperation in training and exchanging experiences to enhance expertise between DSI officers and international law enforcement agencies. This collaboration is especially significant in light of DSI's successful operations in apprehending people involved in forging foreign passports and expanding investigations against their networks, actions that the United States regards as crucial to global security.

On September 1, 2023, following an invitation from the Director General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Ms. Jessica Lee Kai, Attaché from the Regional Security Office (RSO) of the United States Embassy, along with her delegation, conducted an official visit and tour of the DSI Academy located in Nong Chok, Bangkok. The visit includes inspections of the training facilities, including the expertise development building, general learning building, aquatic training building, shooting range, and tactical training building. Additionally, they also observed the training sessions of special case officers and special case inquiry officials. The delegation was welcomed by Police Captain Thinavudth Silapat, the Director of the Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime, and Police Major Tharuetawan Vanaphat, Director of the DSI Academy. In summary, the RSO conveyed a profound willingness to engage in collaborative efforts to develop and organize a variety of advanced training programs for the personnel of the Department of Special Investigation.
