Cooperation between DSI and Department of Disease Control for search and arrest operations during the spread of Covid-19
On January 8, 2021, Pol.Lt.Col.Korrawat Panprapakorn (the Director-General) accompanied by his Deputy Director-General Pol.Lt.Col.Supat Thamthanarug, and the Director of Technology ad Cyber Crime Bureau Pol.Lt.Col.Wichai Suwanprasert with officials met with Dr.Opart Karnkawinwong (the Direcor-General of the Department of Disease Control) to discuss the standard safety measure for search and arrest operations during the spread of Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the cooperation between 2 agencies.
Later, on January 12, 2021, at the meeting room, 3rd floor of the said Institute for Urban Disease Control and Prevention, 10 officials from the Technology and Cyber Crime Bureau and the Special Operation Bureau of the DSI were trained to put on personal protective equipment (PPE) by officers of the said Bureau of the Department of Disease Control to increase efficiency in special case investigation in terms of search and arrest during the Covid-19 situation.
