The DSI had previously warned the public about a fake website copying the genuine website of the DSI, created by bad intended persons, by specifying the website address as “dsi-th.com”. Today, on Friday, July 8, 2022 the DSI further inspected the matter and found 2 DSI fake websites and applications, created by the said bad-intended persons, namely, https://www.dsigo-th.com/ and https://www.dsi-go-th.com/, and the Link Banner or Banner as appeared in the picture below.
Such Banner is a link for downloading applications to install them on smart phones with Android operating system by the public before luring the public to fill in their personal data causing direct threats to the public.
The DSI therefore warns the public not to install or accept to install any application introduced by the said Link, or accidentally click the download. The installation of any application should be selected from the Play Store symbol in smart phones as the picture presented only. In addition, the official website addresses of Thai government agencies are always displayed .go.th or .GO.TH.
If the public has any information or clues related to the said crime commission, the public can inform/ report it to the DSI via its website: www.dsi.go.th or its Hotline 1202 (free call nationwide). The DSI will keep the information of the informant confidential.
