On Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 14.00 hours, DSI Director General Police Major Suriya Singhakamol, together with Mr Angsuket Visuthvattanasak Director of Center for Countering Illegal Money Lending and Promoting Access to Justice, gave a live interview on the Thai PBS People's Station Program on DSI’s joint efforts with relevant agencies to solve land problems faced by residents in Doi Pukha forest reserve and national park in Nan Province.
This follows DSI’s field visit to the area to promote community rights by retrieving Nan’s upstream forest land and handing over terraced farmland to residents of Ban Khungun, Phuka Subdistrict, Pua District of Nan Province, and additional farmland to residents of Ban Pangyang, Phuka Subdistrict, Pua District of Nan Province.
