DSI, TIJ, UNODC met to discuss curriculum development and capacity building
published: 9/5/2566 9:58:43 updated: 9/5/2566 14:24:24 1154 views THOn May 8th, 2023, Police Captain Tinawut Silapat, the Director of DSI Academy, and his team in charge of curriculum development were invited by the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) to meet with Ms. Anna Giudice, the Head of Access to Justice of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), who was attending the Regional Workshop on Investigative Interviewing. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on collaboration between the UNODC, TIJ, and DSI Academy on curriculum development and capacity building through training programs in various areas. The representative from UNODC pledged support to DSI, with TIJ as the key player in pushing forward the initiative. The parties agreed to start with exchanging relevant information, conducting a SWOT analysis, setting goals and objectives for the curriculum, and drafting training programs for special case inquiry officials and for special case officers to enhance the professional skills of DSI personnel in investigation, build professionalism and expertise in investigation to respond to threats of special crime in the borderless digital age, and to raise the standard of DSI Academy's curriculum development to an international level.
