DSI arranged training course on special case inquiry to enhance efficiency of special case inquiry officials

       On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Mr. Triyarith Temahivong (the Director-General of the DSI) visited 351 special case inquiry officials (at professional and senior professional levels) attending the 2 training courses, namely, the special case inquiry, and the enhancement of efficiency of special case investigation and inquiry. The said training courses were held on May 9-11, 2022, at the DSI Academy, Nong Chok, Bangkok. The purposes were to give the trainees knowledge of the special case investigation and inquiry; the trainees are capable of employing knowledge and skills gained for their duty performance prescribed by the law as special case inquiry officials; and the trainees are able to plan and manage special cases, interrogate accusers, seize and forfeit of things as the exhibit in cases, take action against alleged offenders, summarize inquiry files/make the inquiry report of inquiry officials accurately, efficiently, under the same standard.

       Mr. Triyarith Temahivong said, “I have intention to develop personnel of the DSI at all levels to have professionalism with the same standard of the global law enforcement agencies, especially, the special case inquiry officials of the DSI need to be knowledgeable with expertise and experience in the investigation and inquiry. This concept of personnel development resulted in the said training courses aiming to upgrade and fulfill potential of the special case inquiry officials who must pass the training with high standards of knowledge and competence in the duty performance of investigation and inquiry according to the criterion of assessment set by the DSI to elevate the performance of missions of the DSI to have high efficiency, professionalism, and to raise its standard level to meet the international standard level for making the DSI becoming the organization with excellence in special crime prevention and suppression, gaining trust from people in enforcing laws with fairness, and the organization that people can actually rely on it.”
