DSI warns people to check information before copying or sharing it on social media
Regarding the publicizing of the pictures of the officers of the DSI during their online meeting by social media users, the post on the internet warning people to beware of call center gangs tricking people with its analytical content writing that the officers in the said pictures are not the real officers, and the resharing of such post on social media by many people, the Department of Special Investigation officers already inspected it.
The DSI wants to clarify that the officers appeared in the pictures are its executives and officers and neither of them have involved themselves in public cheating and fraud. For the aforesaid picture, it is the picture of the officers of the DSI while discussing official matters with the counsellor and police attaché of the Embassy of The People's Republic of China in Thailand on last December 14, 2021 and the DSI directly uploaded the picture to its website for public relations.
The DSI then wishes to publicize its warning and ask for cooperation of the people to stop sharing the said false information. Before posting or forwarding it on social media, do consider and check the information received in order to prevent the rights infringement of others which may cause widespread damage.
