MOJ Executives, DSI Director-General Inspect Encroachment Allegations at Sirinat National Park, Phuket
On Friday 27 January 2023 at 09.00 am at Sirinat National Park, Phuket Province, Permanent Secretary for Justice Ms Phongsaward Guyaroonsuith inspected alleged encroachment of the national park and attended a briefing on progress in the investigation. Also present were high-level officers from the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) – Deputy Permanent Secretary for Justice Mr Wallop Nakbua, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Justice Police Lieutenant Colonel Prawut Wongseenin, Acting DSI Director-General Police Major Suriya Singhakamol and Deputy DSI Director-General Police Captain Piya Raksakul.
The Permanent Secretary for Justice thanked and commended DSI and relevant agencies for uncovering and investigating the alleged encroachment of Sirinat National Park in Phuket Province for the sake of public interest by, in line with the government’s top priorities, joining forces to protect national interest.
Acting DSI Director-General Police Major Suriya also reiterated DSI’s commitment to working with all parties for the public and national interests.
