The Police Attaché from the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China pays a courtesy call on Director-General of the DSI

 

 

       On August 11, 2022, at the DSI, Mr. Triyarith Temahivong, (the Director-General of the DSI) welcomed Pol.Maj.Gen. WEN Yonggang (Counsellor & Police Attaché), the Representatives of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand who paid a courtesy call on and discussed official matters with the Director General of the DSI, attended by Pol.Lt.Col. Supat Thamthanarug (Deputy Director-General) and Pol.Maj. Jatupol Bongkochmas (the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau).

 

 

         On this occasion, the Director-General of the DSI and the Police Attaché of the People’s Republic of China discussed a guideline for case coordination and cooperation between the police officers of the People’s Republic of China and the DSI, especially surrogacy (Aumboon), cyber crime, and human trafficking cases. The two agencies also agreed to have their coordination at the officer level.
