Representatives of Buriram Farm Women Group thank DSI Director-General for helping unfairly-treated people

 

 

       Today (Thursday, April 21, 2022), 9.00 a.m. at the Reception Room of the DSI, 2nd Floor, the Rajaburi Direkriddhi Building (Building A), the Government Complex, Chaeng Watthana, 20 representatives of the Farm Women Group in Buriram Province met Mr. Triyarith Temahivong (the Director-General of the DSI) and Mrs. Umaporn Preaprasert (the Head of the Debtors and Unfairly-Treated People Help Center) to thank you the Center for helping 222 persons of the said Farm Women Group sued for debt payment totaling 88 cases, 42,821,410.01 baht by the plaintiff who is an organic fertilizer seller in Buriram Province. The said charges resulted from their participation in the project to promote careers of people in Buriram Province in 2012-2015. Lately, the Nangrong Provincial Court issued its order to dismiss the plaintiff’s petition.

       The Justice Minister Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin ordered the DSI to urgently follow up the progress of the said cases in order to minimize social inequality and help people as the urgent and important mission.

       The Director-General Mr. Triyarith Temahivong said, “I am glad and proud of the DSI as a law enforcement agency helping unfairly-treated people that people can rely on it. The mission of the DSI is to prevent, suppress, investigate, and inquire the offenders committing crime regarded as a special case by employing the Special Case Investigation Act, as its instrument. The DSI gives priority to every case under its responsibility. I will travel to visit people in Buriram Province in the next occasion.”
