On Tuesday, 25th April, 2023, 09:00 am. at the meeting room, 1st floor of the DSI headquarters. Mr. Janne Pentti, Chief Superintendent of the National Bureau of Investigation, National Police Board from the Finnish Police Authority and his delegation paid a courtesy visit on Police Major Suriya Singhakamol, the Director General of Department of Special Investigation (DSI). Also present at the call were Police Captain Piya Raksakul, DSI Deputy Director General, Police Major Siriwish Chantechasitkul, Director of Human Trafficking Bureau, Mr. Somroek Tangkharawakhun, Acting Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau, and other relevant officers.
The purpose of this visit was to show appreciation for the joint investigation through the request for mutual legal assistance in criminal matters with good assistance from internal departments of DSI, including the Bureau of Human Trafficking, and the Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime, as well as to discuss about setting up the joint investigation team with DSI in order to improve the efficiency of further investigation cooperation.
