DSI and 4 law enforcement agencies signed agreement to extend their taskforce operations

 






 

On November 7, 2018, 11:30 a.m., at the Ministry of Justice, the Honourable Peter Dutton ( the Minister for Home Affairs of Australia) paid a courtesy call on Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice of Thailand.

 







 

On this occasion, witnessed by Thai and Australian Ministers, the DSI Director-General Pol.Col.Paisit Wongmuang and the representatives of 3 law enforcement agencies of Thailand (comprising the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), the Royal Thai Police (RTP), the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO)) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) signed in an Agreement on Extension of Thai-Australian Taskforce Storm Operations to Combat Narcotics and Transnational Crime. Under the agreement, the Taskforce Storm's operations will extend over a period of 12 months (ending on the date of 30 November 2019).
