DSI awarded its networks the certificates of recognition for persons and organizations with excellent and outstanding performance on participation in special crime prevention for the fiscal year 2018

 

          On August 30, 2018, at 1:00 pm, Pol.Col.Paisit Wongmuang (the Director-General of the DSI) presided over “the Award Conferment Ceremony for Persons and Organizations with Excellent and Outstanding Performance on Participation in the DSI’s Special Crime Prevention for the Fiscal Year 2018” known as the DSI’s Award for the Prototype of Networks held by its Bureau of Policy and Strategy at the Meeting Room, 5th floor, the Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel, Chaengwattana, Bangkok, aimed at informing all networks of the DSI’s performance in the fiscal year 2018 and praising the networks both Thai and foreign for their cooperation with the DSI in special crime prevention.


          The Director-General Pol.Col.Paisit Wongmuang made a remark that the DSI prioritized the opportunity for its network from the public, private, people, and international organizations to participate in special crime prevention, suppression, and investigations in order to reduce special crime under the DSI’s plans to increase more efficiency of its networks by disseminating legal knowledge and mission of the DSI and developing their capacity for special crime watch.

          The followings are the DSI’s criteria for selecting individuals and organizations to be its Prototype of Networks for the fiscal year 2018.

          1. Constantly being the DSI’s network

          2. Having outstanding, reputed and widely known performance relating to the DSI’s mission

          3. Regularly and incessantly participating in DSI’s activities and/or providing cooperation useful to the DSI

          4. Taking actions in the way that reflected its sacrifice for protecting, and securing societies with courage and boldness or continually and endlessly devoting it to support societies

          5. Volunteering for the community, public, and society.

          For foreign organizations, the law enforcement agencies honored with the aforesaid award included

          1. the Immigration Enforcement International (IEI) of the British Embassy in Bangkok,

          2. the Australian Border Force (ABF) of the Australian Embassy in Bangkok,

          3. the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) of the German Embassy in Bangkok,

          4. the Royal Canada Mounted Police (RCMP) of the Canadian Embassy in Bangkok, and

          5. the Hanns-Seidel Foundation (HSF) in Bangkok.

 

          The individual prize for foreigners was awarded to Mr.May Damien Stewart from Australia.
