DSI executives joined the courtesy visit to Thai Justice Minister by the Ambassador of Japan

 

 

       On Friday, November 29, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at the Ministry of Justice, Pol.Lt.Col.Prakorn Sucheevakun (a Deputy Director-General) accompanied by Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) and Pol.Capt.Wisanu Chimtragool (the Director of Security Crime) joined the occasion that H.E.Mr.Shiro Sadoshima (the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand) paid a courtesy call on the Justice Minister Mr.Somsak Thepsuthin for the talks on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Justice of Thailand and the Ministry of Justice of Japan that are still under discussion and for expressing his appreciation for investigations into the case of a Japanese tourist Miss Tomoko Kawashita murdered in Sukhothai Province in 2007. The Minister of Justice informed the Japanese Ambassador of the progress and the DNA testing of this case. The Japanese Ambassador invited the Justice Minister and representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Thailand to attend the 14th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice which will be hosted by Japan in April 2020.
