DSI representatives attended an International Seminar on Combating Child Sexual Exploitation in Singapore

 


 

On June 17-21, 2019, the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha, and his deputy Pol.Capt.Khemachart Prakyhongmanee, as the representatives of the DSI, attended an International Seminar on Combating Child Sexual Exploitation held in Singapore under the support of the public sector of France participated by representatives of foreign law enforcement agencies including INTERPOL and EUROPOL.

 


 

On June 20, 2019 the representatives of the DSI and the Royal Thai Police were invited to lecture on “Travelling Child Sexual Offenders-Case Studies” on behalf of the law enforcement agencies of Thailand.

The DSI prioritizes the problem of child sexual exploitation, a form of transnational crime, and is ready to collaborate with domestic and overseas agencies from all sectors in fighting against child sexual abuse and exploitation.
