DSI representatives attended the 8th meeting of BIMSTEC in Bangladesh

 

 

On 12-15 August, 2018, in Dhaka, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Pol.Lt.Col. Paisith Sungkahapong (Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) and Mr. Manoonpun Rattanacharoen (Head of International Cooperation and Intelligence Division), as the DSI's representatives, attended the Eighth Meeting of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) Joint Working Group on Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (JWG-CTTC).

 

 

The delegates of Thailand, led by the Deputy Secretary General of the Office of the National Security Council, included representatives of the Office of the Attorney General, the Royal Thai Police, the Office of the National Security Council, the National Intelligence Agency, the Anti-Money Laundering Office, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting emphasized the cooperation in intelligence, mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, and extradition relating to terrorism and transnational crime.
