FBI Chief of Major Case Coordination Unit visited DSI
On September 10, 2018 at the DSI, the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau Pol.Lt.Col.Paisith Sungkahapong and his officials welcomed Mr.Brian T. Herrick, the Chief of Major Case Coordination Unit (MCCU) of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Pol.Lt.Col.Paisith Sungkahapong and Mr.Herrick discussed the cooperation in combating online child sexual abuse regarded as a global issue between the DSI and the FBI.
Mr.Herrick as a member of the FBI's experienced and professional instructor team proficient in handling online child sexual abuse cases came to Thailand for being the instructor for a one-week training course attended by officials of law enforcement agencies in Thailand (the DSI and the Royal Thai Police) and other countries in this region.
