HSI Assistant Director for International Operations visited DSI
On November 19, 2018, 9:00 a.m., at the DSI, Pol.Col.Paisit Wongmuang (the Director-General of DSI) and Pol.Col.Paisith Sungkahapong (the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) welcomed Mr. Raymond Villanueva, the Assistant Director for International Operations of the US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Mr. Eric McLoughlin, the HSI Regional Attach? stationed at the US Embassy in Bangkok.
The HSI Assistant Director for International Operations thanked the DSI for its past good cooperation with the HSI. The two agencies have worked closely in terms of intelligence exchanges, case investigations, and training for combating crime including transnational crime, human trafficking, intellectual property infringement, and child sexual abuse, etc. The executives of the HSI and the DSI also agreed to jointly enhance their cooperation in particular advancing skills and expertise of the DSI's officials for competent response to changing crime risks.
