Newly-Posted Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Bangkok visited the DSI

 

 

On Tuesday morning (10:30 a.m.), June 5, 2018, at the DSI, Pol.Lt.Col. Paisith Sungkahapong (the Director of the Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) welcomed Mr. Tran Nhu Hung (the Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Bangkok) who visited the DSI to bid his farewell after completing his term of office in Thailand and to introduce a newly-posted Counselor Mr. Le Van Phuong who will take over the missions relating to the DSI from him.

 

 

In this visit, the Vietnamese delegation not only expressed their wish to strengthen a constantly strong relationship between the DSI and their Police Department of Investigation under the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, but also proposed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the agencies.
