Officials of RSO and ATA of the US assessed DSI ability to counter international terrorism and transnational crime

 


 

On April 2 and 3, 2019 at the DSI, the officials of the Regional Security Office (RSO) and the Antiterrorism Assistance (ATA) Program of the U.S. Department of State visited the DSI to assess its competence to counter international terrorism and transnational crime before joining the ATA program as invited by the ATA who will support the DSI operations against terrorism and transnational crime. The U.S. team discussed the matters with Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) and key officials of the Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime Bureau and the Bureau of Technology and Information Inspection Center of the DSI

 


 

On this occasion, the U.S. team also paid a courtesy call on Pol.Col.Paisit Wongmuang (the Director-General) and his Deputy Director General Pol.Lt.Col.Prakorn Sucheevakun.
