DSI receives a complaint letter from injured persons making investment in franchise coin laundry businesses “WashCoin”

       On Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10.00 a.m., Mr. Triyarith Temahivong (the Director-General of the DSI) assigned Pol.Lt.Col. Seksan Sritulakarn (Deputy Director of Bureau of Regional Operation as the Head of Office of the Director-General) and Pol.Maj. Worranan Srilum (the Director of Bureau of Special Case Management) to receive a complaint letter from a group of injured persons accusing the Mobile To Machine Corporation Company Limited and the owner of the franchise business named WashCoin (the owner of trademarks and rights of the franchises named WashCoin Plus and WashCoin Pro operating their business providing laundry service by coin-operated washers and dryers, self-service laundry machines, for consumers to do laundry by themselves) of advertising their business via the internet persuading general persons or juristic persons to join the investment or purchase the rights of such franchise and its equipment for operating their own business and setting up such equipment in many places in order to provide the said services to people wanting to use washing and drying machines. From the injured persons, the huge damage in this case amounted to not less than ten million baht. The DSI accepted the complaint and would assign its responsible agency to inspect the case.
