ENDSI-AFP met to discuss supplemental agreement on law enforcement cooperation

On Thursday 5 October 2023, DSI Deputy Director General Police Captain Piya Raksakul was assigned by the DSI Director General to represent DSI during a meeting with Federal Agent Janine Ennis from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to discuss the signing of the proposed AFP-DSI supplemental agreement. Also in attendance from DSI were relevant officers from the Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime, Bureau of Human Trafficking, Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime, and Bureau of Technology and Information Inspection Center. This supplemental agreement would benefit both agencies as changes have been made to DSI’s regulations and internal structure, thus warranting the need to update the bilateral agreement.
