DSI accepts complaints requesting fact-finding inspection in the case of Wat Tha Phuratbamrung Welfare and Rehabilitation Center
Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the DSI, Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha (a Deputy Director-General) received a complaint letter from Mr. Jeeraphan Petchkhao and his lawyer requesting the DSI inspect the facts of Wat Tha Phuratbamrung Welfare and Rehabilitation Center, Dan Makham Tia Subdistrict, Dan Makham Tia District, Kanchanaburi Province badly crowded with people under rehabilitation. There is evidence that some faced physical abuse and their parents were charged for servicing. If payment is not paid in full as demanded, the rehabilitated people cannot leave the center.
