DSI participated in exchanging in-depth knowledge and expertise in international law at the seminar, “The RSO 2023 Constructive Dialogue on Irregular Migration, Trafficking in Persons, People Smuggling and Related Transnational Crime”


The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has conducted integrated cooperation with MAST Human Company Limited, a non-profit social enterprise founded to create positive changes in society by combating all types of human trafficking, online child sexual exploitation, and protecting vulnerable groups through technology. MAST Human aims to work with civil society, business, and government sectors to sustainably tackle human trafficking at its root cause.

The Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO) held its 2023 Constructive Dialogue on Irregular Migration, Trafficking in Persons, People Smuggling and Related Transnational Crime from October 10 to 11, 2023 at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park. The RSO sent a letter inviting representatives from the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to participate in the meeting. The DSI Director-General appointed Deputy Director-General Police Captain Wisanu Chimtrakool and DSI officials to attend the meeting as the DSI’s representatives. The DSI's participation in the meeting was to promote cooperation and create opportunities for participation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, as a member of the Bali Process, which consists of 45 member states, including with exchanging in-depth information, knowledge and expertise on various issues related to human trafficking, migrant smuggling, illegal migration, refugee protection, and transnational crime.
