On February 3, 2022, at 2:05 p.m., the Director-General of the DSI Mr. Triyarith Temahivong, accompanied by Pol.Lt.Col. Chalermchon Unahaseree (Head of the Cyber Crime Investigation Center, Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime), attended a live TV program called “People’s Station” of the Thai Public Broadcasting Service (TPBS), hosted by Mr. Teeradej Ngam-luea and Miss. Thidarat Anantarakitti, to talk on DSI’s arrest and seizure of mobile phones’ SIM cards registered by migrant workers to stop call center gangs, and its integration with related agencies for suppression of all types of crimes committed online. Moreover, 2 representatives of the NBTC comprising Mr. Pichai Suwanakijboriharn (the Acting Assistant Secretary General, Regional Affairs Cluster), and Ms. Onwaree Charoenporn (the Director of the Telecommunication Numbering Management Bureau), joined the program to talk on this issue as well.
