The Governor of the MEA, along with the executive team and staff from the MEA, visited to express gratitude to the Director General of the DSI

      On Thursday, July 13^th, 2023, at 2:00 PM, Mr.Wilas Chaloeysat, the Governor of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), along with the executive team and staff from the MEA, visited and expressed gratitude to Police Major Suriya Singhakamol, the Director General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), at Meeting Room 3, 1^st floor, DSI building.

        This visit is the result of the case in which the DSI conducted operations to search 41 sites that were using electricity illegally for Bitcoin mining in Bangkok and Nonthaburi provinces on November 30^th, 2022 (Investigation Case No. 60/2565).

      At present, the DSI is in the process of investigating a Special Case No. 10/2566 and discussing the development of cooperation in various aspects between the two organizations. Police Lieutenant Colonel Phayao Thongsen, Deputy Director General of the DSI, Mr. Khemachart Prakaihongmanee, Director of the Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime, Police Lieutenant Colonel Chalermchonm Ounhase-ree, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime, Mr. Ratchapruk Choodam, Director of the Cyber Crime Investigation Center, and Mr. Chawaphon Sinpoonpakdi, Head of Narcotics Crime Division 3, along with officers from the Bureau of Technology and Cyber Crime, also joined the DSI Director General in welcoming the MEA delegation.
