DSI trained representatives of all sectors to use its learning media called “The Choice: Alternative-Survival Games”

       On 11 March, 2021, at the Duang Preteep Foundation in Bangkok, the Director-General Pol.Lt.Col. Korrawat Panprapakorn assigned the Special Criminal Crime Investigation Center of the DSI to train representatives from public and civil society organizations to use a learning media of the DSI known as “The Choice: Alternative-Survival Games” for solving the problems of informal debts. The participants comprised representatives from the Pathumthani District Court, the Duang Prateep Foundation, the Seed of Ratchaburi Church, the Sahathai Foundation, the Ban Suan Christian Church, the House of Blessing Foundation. This training was aimed at creating awareness of people living in slums of informal debts and the way to solve informal debt problems

       The DSI organized this training as requested by the Duang Prateep Foundation, a charity organization with its purposes to provide educational opportunities for children, youths, and needy people in slums. The DSI employed its learning media “The Choice: Alternative-Survival Games” as a tool to help solve informal debt problems of the needy people employed in low paid work and incapable of managing their finance. In the training, the aforesaid needy people learned about laws relating to informal debts and the way to manage their money and debts for sustainably preventing and solving informal debt problems.
