DSI received request for fact-finding inspection of the Thai-Sino high-speed train project from Mr. Srisuwan Chanya
On Monday, July 5 2021, 10:00 a.m. at the Department of Special Investigation building, Chaengwatthana Road, the Director-General Pol.Lt.Col. Korrawat Panprapakorn assigned the Director of Special Case Mangement Bureau Pol.Capt. Piya Rugsakul to receive a complaint letter from Mr. Srisuwan Janya, the Secretary-General of the Association for the Protection of the Thai Constitution, requesting the DSI to inspect the facts for legal proceedings against persons related to the project on construction of high – speed train between Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima railway or the Thai – Sino 253 km high-speed train project at a cost of 179,413 million baht of the State Railway of Thailand due to finding irregularity of construction and procedure not in accordance with the hire contract.
After the receipt of the request, the DSI will forward the case to the Bureau of Crime Relating to Submission of Bids to Government Agencies for further inspection of facts.
