DSI discussed with Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to study the linking of mapping databases to create a crime mapping system

 


       On Monday 19 June, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., Police Major Suriya Singhakamol, the Director General of Department of Special Investigation (DSI), assigned Mr. Pipat Penpak, Director of Bureau of Technology and Information Inspection Center, accompanied by Mr Kraisri Sawangsri, Head of Mapping and Geo-information Technology Division and officers to make a study visit and discuss about the linking of mapping databases with Information and Surveying Technology for Marine and Coastal Resources Division, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. On this occasion, Ms. Jittima Sathienwutthikul, Director of Information System Management Division of Marine and Coastal Resources, and officers welcomed and briefed the DSI officers on online mapping data service, used for the development of crime mapping system to support special case investigation.
