On Thursday, October 14, 2021, 10:00 a.m. Chief Inspector José Luis Gil Gil (the newly posted Spanish Home Affairs Attaché of Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar stationed at the Embassy of Spain in Bangkok, Thailand) paid a courtesy call on Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (the Deputy Director-General supervising foreign affairs works) to introduce himself and discuss official matters, at the reception room, 2nd floor, Government Complex Building A, attended by Pol.Maj.Jatupol Bongkochmas (the Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) and his deputy director Mr.Somroek Tangkharawakhun, and Mr.Udomkaan Warotamasikkhadit (the Head of Foreign Affairs and Relations Division).
Since the past, the DSI and the police department under the Ministry of the Home Affairs of Spain has good cooperation on cases. On this occasion, the Deputy Director-General invited the Attaché to visit the DSI Academy for cooperation in knowledge exchange, investigation and inquiry experience, and law enforcement. In addition, both parties also discussed the possibility of forming their agreement on cooperation in police affairs, especially intelligence exchange for efficiency in collaboration to suppress transnational crimes which will benefit the people of both countries in the future.
