DSI witnessed the ceremony to handover land title deeds to locals

 


 

On Thursday, September 20, 2018 the DSI's Deputy Director-General Pol.Lt.Col.Korawat Parnprapakorn and the Head of the DSI Operation Center Region 4 accompanied the Permanent Secretary of Justice Professor Wisit Wisitsora-at to attend a ceremony to return land title deeds, assets and happiness to people for social inequality reduction which was held at the Provincial Hall of Kalasin Province.

 


 

In the ceremony, presided by General Prawit Wongsuwan (the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence), 1,366 people from 12 Northeastern Provinces, including Khon Kaen, Nakhon Phanom, Bueng Kan, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Roi Et, Loei, Sakon Nakhon, Nong Khai, Nongbua Lamphu, Udon Thani, and Kalasin provinces regained their land title deeds and properties, namely 1,441 land title deeds covering 5,153 rai and 74 square wa worth around 3,251,426,872 baht. For Kalasin Province, people regained 805 land title deeds covering 2,429 rai, 3 ngan and 75.5 square wa worth 1,749,600,000 baht.

General Prawit Wongsuwan (the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence) stated that the government already returned 3,200 land title deeds covering around 10,000 rai and other properties worth more than 4,200 million baht to locals. The government will keep solving the problems for reducing social inequality in accordance with the government's policy to lower inequality and enhance impartiality in the society.
