On Monday, February 18, 2019, at the DSI's meeting room of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau, Pol.Col.Akarapol Punyopashtambha (the Director) with his deputy director Pol.Capt.Khemachart Prakyhongmanee and Mr.Udomkaan Warotamasikkhadit (Head of Foreign Affairs and Relations Division) welcomed and discussed with Ms.Malina Enlund (the A21 Foundation's Country Manager) and her team.
Their discussions focused on training courses under the project to prevent street children from being trafficked, sexually abused and exploited which will be co-hosted by the DSI and the A21 Foundation. Moreover, they also discussed training courses on sports, music, and English language in schools used as the channels to educate pupils and students about such crime and the ways to project themselves and their friends. The Director also proposed a joint-project to produce and distribute leaflets on human trafficking.
The A21 Foundation is a non-profit organization that works against human trafficking, sexual exploitation and trade, forced labor and slavery through awareness, prevention and victim protection covering physical medical treatment, psychological rehabilitation, legal support, and vocational training for trafficked victims in shelters.
