DSI welcomed Australian Border Force representatives
On Wednesday, August 8, 2018 (10:00 a.m.), at the DSI, Pol.Col. Songsak Raksaksakul (the Deputy Director-General) and Pol.Lt.Col. Paisith Sungkahapong (Director of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau) welcomed and discussed work cooperation between the DSI and the Australian Border Force (ABF) with Superintendent Andrew Dawson (the newly posted counselor of the ABF based in Bangkok) led by Superintendent Vince Shaw (the Counselor of the ABF who came to bid his farewell after completing his term of office in Thailand). A luncheon for the ABF's representatives was hosted by the DSI's Director-General Pol.Col. Paisit Wongmuang.
The DSI and the ABF signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation. The ABF has exchanged intelligence information about transnational crimes with the DSI and trained the DSI's officials in various courses.
