Director of Foreign Affairs and Translational Crime Bureau welcomed representatives of the Russian Embassy in Thailand
On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, 10:30 a.m., at the meeting room of the DSI’s Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime Bureau, the Bureau Director Pol.Col. Akarapol Punyopashtambha and his officials welcomed Mr. Yuri B. Borisenko (Counselor) and Mr.Nikolay A. Lyukin (Second Secretary) of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Thailand who came to meet the Director for introducing themselves and strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation and the DSI.
The counselor Mr. Borisenko, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, was appointed to be the first Counselor stationed at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Thailand. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has authority to control and direct law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.
